Jean-Michel Fages is an accomplished filmmaker whose multifaceted career spans technical expertise and creative storytelling, earning him multiple awards for his compelling screenplays.

Beginning as an A-camera, Steadicam®, and crane operator, he built a strong foundation in the technical aspects of filmmaking, contributing to over one hundred productions worldwide in 18 years.

This international experience taught him to adapt to the unpredictability of film sets, transforming challenges into creative opportunities with calm and resourcefulness. Transitioning to directing 12 prime-time TV series in France, Jean-Michel then decided to devote himself to his own fiction projects.

 

After settling in San Francisco, California, he embarked on his screenwriting journey, following Karl Iglesias's school of thought, which holds that everything in writing screenplays must revolve around writing for emotional impact, the very reason audiences buy a movie ticket.
