Jean Michel Fages

I’m a passionate story teller, with decades of expertise in both the technical and artistic areas of filmmaking, internationally. I was genuinely made for the industry. I began as a cameraman (Steadicam© and crane operator) and soon elevated to directing prime time television series in France. With experience in over one hundred films around the world, I’ve seen a lot, on sets and backstage, I know how to be ready for the unexpected and like to turn obstacles into benefits.

That makes me a confident manager of large scale productions and having a thorough knowledge of all the film professions and techniques, I have the secret sauce for bringing in the right people in a production and get the best out of them.

I’m a freelance director and movie maker based out of Chicago. I’m ready for the next page of my international journey.
